Gratitude is An Attitute That Means “The Quality of Being Thankful”

Lets All of Us Celebrate Together on this American Thanksgiving Day because Gratitude is an Attitude that means “The Quality of Being Thankful!

I love to celebrate with family and friends, don’t you?

Every year on the 24th November we have our ‘Slava’ (tomorrow) – and the word itself means to ‘celebrate’. You my American friends are having Thanksgiving today – it is a celebration.

Gratitude is an Attitide that means "the quality of being ThankfulIn September, many in the UK celebrate Harvest Festival and our Chinese friends celebrate their Mid-Autumn Festival (its a harvest festival) in late September to early October.

We have just celebrated Halloween and here in the UK Guy Fawkes Night. Before that we had our Harvest Festivals in September time – as traditionally that used to be when the Harvest was gathered. with modern farming and technology that season has extended – but we still celebrate 🙂 Soon it will be Christmas and the New Year. Then the Chinese New Year and onto Easter and Eid and all those birthdays in between.

We CELEBRATE as human beings and with celebration comes gratitude and thankfulness in abundance.

Oh that we could be in this state of mind this quality of character all the time  – there would be no war, there would be no bad feeling, there would be a better world.

So remember your depth of thankfulness today and on all those days you celebrate, remember how it feels. Have it as part of your being as a quality of your character. Hold that quality, that feeling for everyday so as to create a better world around us and for a better state of mind for yourself.

My Friend Raymond

I have a wonderful friend who exudes a quality of thankfulness – every time I am in his vicinity – Raymond Stender – he is a wonderful being – look at him here so happy so giving and yet he is in a wheelchair and has health problems BUT he embodies this quote……..

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.

It turns what we have into enough, and more.

It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity.

It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.

It turns problems into gifts.

Failures into success.

The unexpected into perfect timing.

Mistakes into important events.

Gratitude makes sense of our past.

It brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.

Sending everyone love and gratitude today, on this America’s Thanksgiving Day!

Best Wishes,
